BloomingtonEden Prairie Meals On Wheels is a non-profit organization that delivers low-cost, hot, nutritious meals during the noon hour in the cities of Bloomington and Eden Prairie. Our clients are elderly, ill or disabled persons who are unable to shop or prepare meals for themselves. Meals are delivered by volunteers whose friendly visit plays a vital role in allowing clients to stay independent and in their homes.

Our Volunteers  deliver more than 100 meals a day Monday through Friday week after week all year long. In addition to a hot, well-balance meal, the volunteers are a touchpoint for the clients. A warm smile and a brief visit can make all the difference for someone struggling with loneliness. Volunteers also alert our staff if they observe any health or environmental changes that may cause concern.

A daughter of a client sent this note:

Every person that has brought my Mom a meal has made her day. I come home to glowing reports on who she has met that day in addition to how good her meal was. Thank you to the Bloomington Eden Prairie Meals on Wheels team! Your efforts are truly appreciated!
